The conference Mobility, variability and changing literacies in Modern times will be held from 11-13 June 2014 at Utrecht University, The Netherlands.
The city of Utrecht, founded by the Romans, is located in the heart of The Netherlands on the banks of the river Rhine. Utrecht has a picturesque medieval city centre with canals, old churches, museums, a modern concert hall and a municipal theatre. Open air markets, pubs and restaurants can easily be found. Utrecht University was founded in 1636 and is the largest university in the country with approximately 30,000 students.
The conference will be held at the Sweelinckzaal, Drift 21, 3512 BR Utrecht, which lies in the centre of Utrecht (see map below).
